1st September 2015

The Magna Carta isn't the only important anniversary that is being celebrated in Egham this year. One of the town's longest-established companies, Regency Investment Services, is celebrating an amazing half century in business.

A leading firm of independent financial advisers, the company has been one of the main features of the High Street in Egham since 1974. It was started in 1965 by John Holloway, the father of its current managing director Dominique Vinecombe, and since that time it has ensured hundreds of clients have benefited from a secure financial future. More recently, the company gained chartered financial planning status in recognition of the expertise of its directors and staff.

As well as advising clients on financial management, long-term investments, insurance and tax issues, Regency Investment Services is also an expert within the pensions arena. With the recent changes to legislation that have allowed greater pension freedoms for people about to retire, it has never been more important for individuals planning for their future to have the support and advice of the very best financial advisers. The fact that many of the people the company looks after today are the children and grandchildren of John Holloway's first clients back in 1965 is testament to the company's unparalleled track record over half a century.

One such client is Christine Jackson who explains why she would recommend Regency Investment Services to anyone seeking help with financial planning: "As well as having considerable financial expertise, the team at Regency are incredibly helpful. They are very committed to helping individual clients like myself and make it very easy to communicate with them. Every member of the team is friendly and they make you feel they are aware of and understand your situation. They are a great company to work with."

Managing director Dominique Vinecombe has been in charge of the company for the past 8 years, and it was a very special day for her father when she took over the post. "I was immensely proud of her achievement," said John, "as she was appointed purely on her own merit. I am also delighted that, with fellow directors Stephen Hatherall and Alan Lander and the rest of the amazing team at Regency Investment Services, Dominique has made the company into one of the region's longest-established and most successful and independent financial advisers."

At the Regency Investment Services recent 50 year birthday party, Dominque expressed her thanks to everyone who has supported the company: "In today's fast-moving and often unpredictable business climate there are not many companies that can boast such a long and impressive history. I would like to express my sincere thanks not only to my colleagues who have helped us to get to where we are today but also to our loyal clients, many of whom have become personal friends. It has been a truly amazing journey, and I am looking forward to working together towards our next anniversary in ten years' time."
